NOVEMBER 18TH 2016

FUNDRAISING

  • Well the prizes keep rolling in for our Bingo Fundraiser on November 22nd with prizes totalling around $2500!! We are looking to start renovating our library before Christmas so Tell your family! Tell your  friends - all are welcome to attend. $20 to play 15 games.
  • Any students interested in volunteering to help with the Bingo are to see Mrs. Vaughan today. We will have a meeting Monday at lunch.
     
  • We are selling farm boxes to fundraise for the school.  For $30, you get a farm box containing an assortment of fruits and vegetables from Local Nova Scotia farms.  All forms MUST be in by November 25th ( NO LATER) and extra receipts can be picked up in the office.
     
  • Support Movember by buying your own “mo” at lunch today. It should be easy to figure out who is selling them.

SPORTS

  • Congratulations to the Boys Volleyball team on their big win yesterday vs. Ellenvale. Jonah C. led the way in hits while Nick Y. and Nai D. found their range from the service line. It was a great team effort. Next game is Monday afterschool.

CLUBS

  • The Pawn Shop (Chess) will be open today at lunch in room 202.

Bingo! We are holding a huge Bingo Fundraiser on November 22nd with prizes totalling up to $2500!! Tell your family and friends - all are welcome to attend. $20 to play 15 games.

SPORTS

  • There will be a Boys Volleyball Practice today at lunch!
  • Team fees for girls volleyball are due to Ms. MacLeod.
  • There will be no student spectators today at the girls volleyball game.

CLUBS

  • There will be a Destination Imagination meeting Thursday at lunch in Mrs. Swinemer’s room.  Everyone is welcome.

NOVEMBER 10TH

Sports

Boys A basketball practice today after school IS CANCELLED!

Congrats to the Boys Volleyball team on a very hard fought win yesterday on the court. Andrew G. lead the way controlling the court and all players stepped up big over the course of the game! Practice Tuesday at lunch!

After School

There will be a meeting of the Imhotep's Legacy Academy After School Program in science and math today for Grade 7-9 students in:The Science Lab from 2:45pm - 4:15pm. Fun activities including science experiments, field trips, robotics. New students  are welcome to join.

NOVEMBER 9TH

- In Hockey Action last night, Ben R. scored twice, Alex R., Cameron P. and Connor M. all added singles in a tough loss to Ellenvale. The roster for next week’s game will be posted before the end of the day today.
- Good luck to the CAL Volleyball Team who will be playing at Eric Graves today. There will be NO student spectators at Eric Graves.
- Boys A Basketball team practice tomorrow (Thursday at 3:30pm)

 

OCTOBER 27TH 2016

-There is a volleyball tryout today at lunch.
-There will be a Boys Basketball Practice TODAY from 4:00 - 5:30pm.
-Boys Volleyball will practice Monday After School
-ALL CAL hockey players MUST see Mr. Bray before the end of the day today!
-Girls volleyball tryout today at lunch for everyone who was at the last tryout.

OCTOBER 24TH 2016

School Life

  • Halloween’s right around the corner, do you know what else? We Scare Hunger, and at Caledonia we are hosting an in-school food drive to help hungry families in our community.  A donations box will be set up in the lobby so bring in your non-perishable food items anytime from today to Oct. 26.  Our goal is over 1000 food items.  If we reach our goal we will have a school wide event! There are only two days left to reach our goal!
  • Hot dogs will be on sale Wednesday in the gym at lunch, $1.00 each.

Sports

  • There will be a boys Volleyball practice today after school.
  • There will be a girls basketball tryout tomorrow morning at 7:05am. Sign up sheet is on the bulletin board.
  • There will be a Girls Football Practice Tomorrow after school.

OCTOBER 20TH, 2016

Sports

  1. There will be a Boys Volleyball Practice Today afterschool. 2:45-4:00pm
  2. Boys Flag Football Intramurals are Coming Soon! If you are interested in taking part in Lunch Time Flag Football, there is a sign up sheet on the Bulletin board by the Gymnasium!
  3. CALEDONIA Hockey is here. ALL interested players MUST be in Mr. Bray’s room at 11:45 sharp today for a 20minute meeting. Tryouts will be Friday from 3-4 at Cole Harbour Place
  4. There will be a girls volleyball tryout today at lunch.
  5. There will be a girls football practice after school today from 2:45-3:45. Permission forms and team fee is due to Ms.MacLeod by Friday

School Life

  2. Any Grade 7 students who have not passed in their immunization forms need to hand them into the office ASAP.  If you need a new form please see Ms. West in the office.
  3. Students should check out the items in the “lost in found” area by the front lobby stairs.  Items will be taken away and donated to a charity on Friday.
  4. There is a dance tonight from 6:30-8:30. Sign-in forms are available in the office. Tickets are $6 or $5 with a food donation in advance; or $7 and $6 at the door

Clubs

  1. There will be a meeting of debate club tomorrow at 12:05 in room 107.  All are welcome.
