Through Curriculum Renewal a group of students developed an inquiry question about Truth and Reconcilation. They chose to do an action project to bring awareness to the Moose Hide Campaign. The Moose Hide Campaign is a grassroots movement by Indigenous and Non Indigenous Men and Boys who are standing up against Violence towards Women and Children. The group of students choose the Red Dress cookies as a way to represent the missing Indigenous children and proceeds from the cookie sales will go to the Moose Hide Campaign. Cookies will be $1.00. Students will be accepting donations as well.
