February is Registration Month and you will receive direct communication from Prince Andrew as well. Here are few important dates to keep in mind as you and your child start thinking about Registration for High School.

Prince Andrew will share a Registration Guide the first week of February.

• Mrs Williams will be coordinating presentations to students for Feb 7-11 so students can make decisions around registration. There will be NO teacher recommendations again this year for registration. We will make sure Mrs. Williams visits each class to answer questions about registration.
• Mrs Williams will be meeting with each student the week of Feb 14-18 to help them go over their registration forms. The following week students can enter their Registration form when the Parent Portal opens. Mrs Williams will be her to support as well. 

➢ February 14-18 – REGISTRATION INFORMATION WEEK
- Any Google Meet or Zoom links will be sent out via email
o February 14-18 – IB Information Google Meets for Students held during the daytime  at Caledonia (IB Coordinator and JH Counsellors will coordinate times)
o February 15 – 6pm – IB Information Session for Parents, hosted by our IB Coordinator, Tracy Giffin. This is for families in the evening
o February 16 – 6pm – Course Selection Information Session for African Nova Scotian learners which will be hosted by our Principal Craig Campbell and Counsellor Courtney Cribb. A focus will be on the Africentric Mathematics Cohort taking place in the fall.
o February 17 – 6-8pm – General Question and Answer Session for all students or parents led by our Registrar, Dan MacDonald.
➢ February 21-28 – PowerSchool Registration
o Students will be given time at their JH School to register for classes with their counsellors. They will have their planning forms that parents/families hopefully had a chance to talk to them about.
