SchoolsPlus (CPA Family of Schools) is starting a monthly "Caregiver Connection" series. We will be bringing various community resources and services into the school community to talk to parents and guardians about what those services offer, how those services can support your families, and how you can access them. Our intention is to minimize the barriers that families may experience in accessing needed community resources.
SAVE THE DATE: Our first Caregiver Connection session will take place on January 29, 2025 at the CPA High School Library between 6:30-7:30pm. This session will be introducing parents and guardians to the resource Eating Disorders Nova Scotia- a local organization that provides supports to children, youth, and adults who are either struggling with disordered eating, or supporting a loved one with their disordered eating.
To attend the January 29 session with Eating Disorders NS please RSVP to Ashley Avery at aavery@hrce.ca. Any person who is a parent, guardian, or caregiver to a student that is enrolled at CPA High or ANY of its feeder schools are welcome to attend.
