What does this mean for Caledonia Junior High?

Bus students get picked up 2hours after their regular bus pick up.

Walking students arrive at Caledonia at 10:45 am

Same lunch hour

Same Dismissal time.

All Halifax Regional Centre for Education schools will be delayed in opening by two hours today.

School bus service will also operate on a two-hour delay. Students will be picked up two hours later than their originally assigned pick up time pending any delays due to traffic and local road conditions.

Lunch and dismissal times we remain at their regularly scheduled times. The EXCEL program will be cancelled for the morning only.

Today's decision was based on the following information:

    Snowfall tailed off by 3 am with up to 20 cm in some areas
    
    HRM and DTIR crews having been clearing roads overnight and will continue through the morning
    
    School driveways and parking lots will be cleared early this morning
    
    Visibility is good with moderate winds gusting to 30 km/h throughout the day
